After his exclusion from Saturday's qualifying session, Sebastian Vettel clearly had a point to prove. This he did in fine style, charging from the back of the grid to an eventual third place podium finish, retaining his lead in the Drivers' Championship. Teammate, Mark Webber, had a race to forget after a great qualifying performance. His race ended after he became unavoidably involved in someone else's accident. Despite this, Red Bull Racing maintain a commanding lead in the Constructors' Championship, and will be hoping to cement victory in Austin in two weeks' time.
After a lengthy deliberation by the stewards at Yas Marina, Sebastian Vettel was excluded from today's qualifying session and will start tomorrow's Grand Prix from the pit lane.
